Have you recently started a business in Philadelphia, or are you in the process of starting one? Join Philadelphia VIP, Troutman Pepper Locke, and TD Bank for a free business training and legal clinic. RSVP below to participate.

TD Bank will lead a training on developing a business plan and accessing capital. After the training, business owners will meet with volunteer attorneys for a one-hour legal consultation to discuss related questions, including:

• What entity type makes the most sense for my business?
• How do I incorporate my business or form an LLC?
• What should I look for before I sign a contract?
• What is an operating agreement and how do I write one?
• How do I protect my business’s intellectual property?

The clinic will be held on June 24, 2025 from 2:00–5:00 pm at a law firm in Center City. You may be eligible to participate if:

• The business is located in/based out of Philadelphia; and
• The household income of the business owner(s) is less than 400% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
